The play Fragile was born as part of the European project ‘‘All Strings Attached: The Pioneers of European Puppetry Behind the Scenes’’ and at the same time a graduate exam of Anamarija Jurišić under the mentor of assistant professor of arts Hrvoje Seršić at the Academy of Art in Osijek, at the theater department, acting and puppetry. Graduate exam was created in cooperation with colleagues Antonio Jakupčević, Krešimirom Jelić, Hanom Kunić, Ivan Vukićević and Ines Zmazek, assistant professors Maja Lučić Vuković and Tamara Kučinović, and instructors Katarina Arbanas and Nenad Pavlović. In this written thesis the author describes the work process on the play with an emphasis on the analysis of the process of creating the play from the idea to the realization. At the beginning of the work the author describes hers feelings for puppet art, then writes about the project within which the plays have been produced, writes short puppet biographies that were the inspiration and the theme of the whole project, and describes the process of making the first courses at the academy, to the final performance in front of the audience in Italy. At the end the author summarizes the whole process and gives his conclusion about the future of puppets and puppetry.
